On April 25, 1930 an unidentified assailant killed five people and seriously wounded six others in Zidilje, a village near Ćuprija, Kingdom of Yugoslavia. That evening the villagers had gathered in front of the church to celebrate, and around 9 p.m., while they were dancing, gunfire erupted from the darkness surrounding the illuminated square.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
