During the night of September 12, 1911 a laborer named Zautze, who was reportedly depressed following a long illness, killed his wife and five children by cutting their throats with a straight razor in Wassel, a village near Sehnde, German Reich. After the murders he committed suicide by hanging himself.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
