In June 1937 a man wounded 13 people, three of them perhaps fatally, in Waipa, a village on the island Sanana, Dutch East Indies, before committing suicide.[1][2][3]

Two weeks prior another amok case with four people killed and five others wounded was reported to have occurred on the same island. It is unknown if this is the same incident, or something unrelated.[4][5][6]
