|Pipli amok case|
|Date|| August 1938|
|Location(s)||Pipli, British Raj|
The young man had married a short time prior to the murders, and his wife was abducted by some goondas from Pipli. She was later released after paying a ransom of Rs. 100, but considering this a disgrace to the family, the man bought a gun and cartridges and shot those goondas he suspected of having been involved in the incident.
