During the night of November 23, 1936 a Hindu potter killed 14 people and seriously wounded two others in Maropally in Nalgonda district, British Raj, before being arrested. The man, who was armed with a ricepounder, first murdered his two wives and three daughters, and then killed nine other relatives. Two other people were taken to hospital in precarious condition.[1][2][3][4][5]
