Luis Sandoval Troncoso was a Chilean worker who killed his wife and six children in Valdivia, Chile in July 1963.

In a letter he had written to the local authorities he explained that out of misery he drugged his wife and children with a soporific drink, and then killed them one by one with an axe. The 40-year-old afterwards committed suicide by hanging himself.[1]
