In June 1892 a man killed six people and wounded three others near Lahad Datu, North Borneo. The man who had been divorced shortly before the murders, killed his former wife, two Chinese men, and another man, and wounded two people from Sulu and three Chinese. Two of the latter later succumbed to their injuries. The murderer himself was also wounded and brought to hospital.
