On November 4, 1994 a Sri Lankan soldier killed eight people and wounded a ninth in Kurunegala District, Sri Lanka. The man first shot dead his pregnant wife, whom he suspected of cheating on him, and also killed her father and sister, before entering a nearby house, where he killed five other people. He then committed suicide.[1][2][3]
