During the night of November 8, 1988 a Bangladeshi Air Force corporal killed at least eight people and wounded more than 50 others in Mondhorpur mosque at the air base in Jessore, Bangladesh, before committing suicide. Most of the victims were reportedly air force personnel, including several senior Air Force officials. The toll was given as high as twelve people killed and 70 wounded.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
