Gregorio Cáceres was a Venezuelan farmer who killed eleven people and seriously wounded four others with a hatchet and a knife in El Corozo, a village in Trujillo, Venezuela on February 18, 1942. The 50-year-old also killed numerous animals and then escaped into the jungle, but was eventually tracked down and shot dead by police.
