Edward O'Neil was an American who killed his wife and five of his children in Overton County, Tennessee, United States on September 11, 1846. O'Neil, who reportedly was a drunkard, afterwards set his house on fire and perished in the flames. A 16-year-old daughter escaped the murders.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
