On July 24, 1967 an Indonesian army corporal killed eleven people and wounded two others on a train travelling from Semarang to Jakarta, Indonesia.[1][2][3]

The soldier opened fire with a submachine gun at the passengers after a quarrel with another person, leaving seven people dead at the scene, and six more seriously wounded, four of whom later succumbed to their injuries. He jumped off the train in Cirebon, but was arrested by police when trying to escape on a stolen bicycle.[4][5][6][7][8]
