Chen Anjin (Chinese: 陈安进) was a Chinese who killed nine people and wounded 67 others, 16 of them seriously, when detonating four hand grenades during a film screening in the stadium at the Xijin power plant (西津电厂) in Heng County, People's Republic of China on August 10, 1978.
Chen, the former head of the plant's armed forces, was dissatisfied after being transferred from his job and stole the hand grenades from the armed forces depot with the intent to retaliate. The explosion, which occurred at 9:20 p.m., also killed himself.
