On January 14, 2001 a Rwandan killed at least six people and wounded at least two others in Poto-Poto, a quarter of Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo. The man, who shot his victims in an apartment block that was occupied by Congolese, Rwandans and Chadians, afterwards committed suicide by shooting himself in the mouth. Seven people reportedly died at the scene, while four others were wounded, two of whom apparently succumbed to their injuries at the Central University Hospital. It is not known, if the attacker was counted among the deceased vicitms.[1][2][3][4]
