On July 9, 1933 a man shot dead at least two people and wounded twelve others, two of them seriously, in Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, Dutch East Indies. The perpetrator himself was also severly injured when the other guests subdued him.[1][2]

According to some sources twelve people were killed, while either four,[3][4][5] or twelve others were wounded.[6][7][8][9]
