On November 6, 2000 an Algerian police officer killed six people and wounded four others in Aïn Bouchekif, Algeria. The man first killed his wife with his service pistol and also seriously wounded a neighbour, before forcing his three children, as well as two neighbour's children into his car. While driving around he shot the five children dead, threw their bodies out of the window, and fired at other cars, injuring three men in the process. Eventually the policeman committed suicide by crashing his car into a truck.[1][2][3][4][5]
